If Winnipeg is going to trade Evander Kane all they want in return is a young forward, a package of prospects and a high draft pick. No more than an early third round I'm guessing. (I did my research for this, it seems the value is off but a high draft pick is good, a young forward with a lot of potential increases the value then 2 promising prospects levels the value even)

It does not seem like Evander Kane is going to get moved anytime soon, the Jets want a huge package for him and he just is not worth what they are asking for right now. Although he has a ton of talent he is an inconsistent player, and by multiple accounts has a poor attitude.

I don't think Winnipeg wants to trade him but he basically asked to be traded earlier this year

I disagree, believe Jets want to trade Kane but know, atleast at this point they are in a no win situation. Teams know he wants out so guess what! they make low ball offers. Jets need to be patient, not let Kane dictate things and tell him if he wants to be traded, play as good as you think you are and all will workout.
