Cgy: 6th overall, hamilton and kylington, 2nd rounder (35th overall) .

Edm:4th overall, klefbom and eberle.

That is just atrocious for Edmonton. Giving up proven assets for futures and picks. Hamilton is a slight upgrade on Klefbom, so we're giving up 3 big peices to move down in the draft and only slightly improve our D. If you want to talk Hamilton for Eberle or the 4th, then maybe somethings there. This is just atrocious otherwise.

Change klefbom to Reinhart and then I think the value us fair. Maybe lower Calgary's 2nd round pick.

Cgy: gio, 6th overall, 2nd round (35th), porier and backlund.

Cbj: Ryan Murray, 3rd overall and wennberg

Calgary gets a younger center in wennberg, Murray is a solid top three and draft pulj.

Columbus gains a top 2 experienced d man in gio, gain center depth with backlund (good in both ends) and get porier and a 2nd to add to there prospect pool.

Why does Calgary or Columbus do this? Gain more cap space, hurting their chances to resign Jones. Moves back 3 spots, loses a top 3 much needed dman, loses a promising young center for a 2c center (more cap space), an older dman (more cap space) and poirier. Just makes no sense, terrible trade.
