Leafs: Clifford
Kings: Kulemin
1.) This is good. Kulie is capable of scoring with enough ice time, which he's get in LA and Clifford would go with bolland and clarkson nicely
2.) Leafs need to add
3.) Kulimen is way better than clifford no thanks and this is from a ducks fan
4.) Has anyone noticed that when a non leaf fan backs the leafs, it is end of conversation?
5.) Kuli is barely better than Orr.

To Tor: E. Kane
To Wpg: Reimer
Kulemin
1st round pick
Winnipeg either keeps Kulemin if they think they can make the playoffs or sells him for a 2nd or 3rd
1.) This is awful for a 22yo top line winger
2.) They can use our first round pick to trade for a player than can help them make the playoffs too.
I am a huge fan of Reimer and Kulemin, but Kane is the kind of player that I am willing to accept the loss of my 2 favorite players.

3.) ^totally unrealistic and tor biased
4.) I actually think it's an overpayment for Kane, but one I would be willing to pay.
I think it's quite plausible that Kulemin could bring a 2nd round pick from a team like Pitt. I also think it's reasonable to assume that the pick acquired from trading Kulemin could be packaged with Reimer for a 1st round pick from any number of teams looking to upgrade in net.
Reimer and a 2nd round pick
for
1st round pick
Those are both realistic deadline deals in my opinion.
I would consider two 1st round picks an overpayment for Kane, especially if you consider two 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick an overpayment for a guy like Kessel.
5.) Reimer and Kuli suck and a mid pack 1rst won't get you Kane.
6.) Reimer would drag the Jets into the playoffs. Kulemin would provide some much needed grit. The Jets lose the attitude when they dish off Kane. Somewhere in there the Jets need a D-man coming back. Decent starting blocks for a blockbuster though.
7.) Jets do looks better than the Leafs
8.) Reimer is terrible
9.) ^Reimer is a solid number 1 goalie. Ever since he came out of the AHL Reimer always played great, and last year he lead this team all the way to the playoffs and took Boston to game 7 which Rangers and Penguins failed to do.
I think it's best the Leafs keep Reimer but sitting him in the bench won't help and with the talent he has and what he has done with the Leafs he deserves to be a starter and if he can't be that number 1 he should be number 1 some where else.

^This is Gillis we're talking about. Kessler could probably be had for Kulemin, Orr and a 4th.
Good for him. I'm happy he finally got his trade and can finish his playing days in Florida like he wanted. He deserves it after all the BS he took from the Van management the past couple years.
I don't see Reimer being traded without a veteran backup already being in place or coming back in return, but even that is unlikely.
I think the Leafs hold onto Reimer and go with the duo of Bernier/Reimer for the playoffs. If Bernier doesn't completely blow it down the stretch and in the playoffs, I can see Reimer being traded at the draft for picks or to improve their draft position. They would then sign a veteran backup for Bernier next year.
Can't trade Luke without trading Brayden too. Doesn't have to be in the same trade but there is too much risk of hurt feelings being a distraction by trading one Schenn and keepng the other
Detroit would have to give up a 2nd round pick just to have someone take the Weiss contract off their hands.
