Van dumps salary and creats roster space. Tampa gets 20 year old first round prospect back and depth for playoff run.

I would love this trade as a nucks fan but this isn't even close. Burrows is worth maybe a 3rd and although Gaunce was a former first rounder and has been progressing I don't see him being more than a 3rd liner.

Tampa does have a spot for Burrows in the lineup or cap space to take on a cap dump. And gaunce isn't anything special. Cap dump does the other way if anything.

Way too much for drouin . He does have potential, but hasn't proved anything. shinkarik has been developing nicely with the comets, and tampa can't afford to take on hamhuis salary without subtracting from their current nhl roster.

I agree the canucks need to sell and sell big. Definately move hamhuis and vrbata for prospects/ picks. I would not get rid of edler until the draft. Here is what i would do at the trade deadline
Hamhuis/ higgins ( ret) to florida for 2016 1st
Vrbata/ prust to chicago for 2016 2nd
Hansen+ chi 2016 2nd to tampa for drouin.
