Flames defense is good for now. If they need to boost it, they can resign hamonic, maybe bodies.
As has been noted here, they need a goalie. Maybe give a4th for the rights to markstrom and try to sign him.

Flames don't need a goalie, they need better team defense in front of the goalies. Starting with a big bodied top four (preferably top pair) hard hitting, crease clearing, shot blocking, shutdown defenceman.
The real problem is too much emphasis by the GM on offensive "skill" players and not enough on defensively responsible players.
