Would like to know your opinion,
MTL need a #1 Center to play with pacioretty,
Galchenyuk would be #2 center with radulov
So my trade if possible:
MYI: Tavares
MTL: Plekanec Or Desharnais + Beaulieu, McCarron and #2 draft pick

LOL this is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. That proposal isn't close at all man. As bad as a GM Garth Snow is imo, even he would laugh at that. That's the equivalent too :
Price for Halak or Greiss, Mayfield, Ho Sang and a 2nd.

Are you talking about John Tavares? Or some other one named Nick Tavares, Peter Tavares or Brent Tavares? Cause that package may get you one of those no names, not John though.

Thats not going to happen.
Habs aren't going to get a Superstar forward.
They will try to get a Dman, bur not a Superstar one at that either.
Galchenyuk is there number one center, and although he's not Tavares, he's 22 and progressing quite well.
When it comes to forwards, they shoild start trying to figure out how to keep Radulov.

No way Isles trade Tavares. If they want a #1 center, they should go after Martin Hanzal. Then you have a great passing center playing with a sniper in Pacioretty. Make a trade like this:
MTL: Hanzal
ARI: Andrighetto, Scherbak, Dietz, Hudon/ De la Rose
Then your lines look like this:
Pacioretty-Hanzal-Gallagher
Shaw/ Carr-Galchenyuk-Radulov
Danault-Plekanec-Shaw/ Carr
Byron-Desharnais-Mitchell/ Flynn
Markov-Weber
Beaulieu-Petry
Emelin-Pateryn
Price
Montoya
Scratched: Mitchell/ Flynn, Hanley, Redmond, Lehkonen.

While I do think the Islanders should trade Tavares before he leaves the team after 2018 (cuz why wouldn't he the team is going nowhere) . They aren't going to trade him for a hot pile of garbage :)

Simmonds is a good player but not > better than pacioretty
Max Pacioretty as 4 years with 30+ goals and 60+ points
Simmonds 1 years 30+ goals and 2 year with 60+ points
Simmonds as a good start this year but pretty sure Pacioretty as a slow star with center man that play like rubbish in desharnais or plekanec.
