I think this is possible as the Canadiens will be looking to tank this year for a decent draft pick. Anderson has been on the Flames radar for a long time and their window is now. Lucic is actually only getting paid just over 1m despite his cap hit and also on the last year of his contract. Flames want to unload someone off a stacked defensive corps and a young previous first rounder may be a good move for both the player and both organisations.
