Not a fair trade for the Canes as Samsonov and spare parts is not worth a player like Pesce.
Yes Pinball is back with his one sided, pro Leaf trades.

You are so right a Defenceman like Pesce would command at least 1st Rounder plus Fraser Minton and Easton Cowan if not more.
Having 4 points and a +/ - of a -8 in 22 Games and on an expiring contract will get Carolina a lot in a trade.
Thanks for showing me how great Pesce really is, and how silly of a post this must be for you, thanks for letting me think like you for just a second to understand my error.

Pinball, people on here do overrate Pesce. But in the same context that trade provides no value to Carolina and definitely not worth Pesces's value.

Tonight’s meltdown in BUF is an exclamation point on the leafs’ back end.

It’s not rocket science trade what you have extra of to acquire what you need. Defense and goaltending win championships. This isn’t news. Nor is it news that Samsonov and isn’t an NHL starter. Numbers don’t lie.
