Both teams would decline. I guess to answer your question value is fair. I know Patty Kane is going through some rough times this offseason but if he's get of clean I imagine him and Toews being Blackhawks for life.

doesnt make much sense for the rebuilding oilers. makes even less sense considering what kane is going through right now .

Hall on his contract is pretty close in value to Kane at $10.5 mil. Oilers don't consider this trade, ignoring Kane's whole legal situation.

Oilers need to consider anything and everything. Kane is one of the best. How long can they keep their fans hoping to make the playoffs. Yet alone not be the laughing stock of the league for yet another season. Not that it makes sense for them to trade for Kane, but oilers fans should be begging for a proven player. Instead of banking on winning the next lottery pick. Your franchise has been lucky as **** over the last number of years. But in reality given all of their luck they are by far the most pathetic.
