Tampa Bay: Drouin

Honestly I believe Fowler has to go because no one is going to want take Bieksa or Stoner from Anaheim. And I think from their standpoint that want a high end left winger back that can play with Getz and Pers. I can really see the first one working. Not sure about whether or not Tampa needs another defenceman. what's the feedback?

I honestly think that JVR has more value than Drouin for sure so ducks won't add to fowler for drouin.

Drouin has a higher ceiling and he looks poised to break out. As of right this moment, including cap hit, I'd say they're close but Drouin is going to be worth a lot more soon.

The yes from Toronto obviously depends on what the pick/ prospect is. No if it's a first round pick and there's about 5-6 prospects that they wouldn't think of adding to jvr in that deal.

I don't, but Toronto really needs a defenseman, and defenseman are also worth more than forwards (at the moment) and I think they are very similar in value, but the add can be minimal from Toronto it doesn't need to be anything huge. So that's why I think Toronto says yes.

Honestly Jonathan Drouin is younger and also worth more than James Van Riemsdyk or Cam Fowler. I don't think they'd give him up at the moment. But the first trade is even, I don't think the leafs would give up anymore than Van Riemsdyk. Fills their need for defence tho. Good post!
