You'll need more value for Johnny Boychuk. But honestly the Oilers will probably go out and look for a different d-man because they have a lot of d-men similar to boychuk. Which are 25-35 point d-men. They need a real offensive producer from the blue line.

No from both teams, and considering Boychuck didn't even wanna come to Edmonton is another reason why Oilers say no. He fits very well in NY.

Looking ahead to the future, I would not want anything to do with Boychuk and his contract. He's great right now but is getting up there and is still making 5.5 Mil for the next 7 years I think. I'm not saying I wouldn't want him on my team but with his style of play I'd imagine there is a lot of wear and tear and his body.
