TSNs Brent Wallace on whether Jason Spezza will be back with the Senators next year, "probably not. " Spezza to Toronto for Kadri, Franson and a second. But in ALL honesty can't see Ottawa Trading Spezz to a division Rival. But Kadri would be a good fit with Bobby Ryan and Keep Turris and Mac together. ANd Ottawa gets another Dman they need especially another puck moving one that can play pp and a fairly young young, But then again from a leafs stand point how healthy is Spezz Back going fwd?
1.) The Leafs need DEFENSE. Not more forwards.
Spezza is a pretty good player, but if priority number 1 in Leaf land isn't to get a good defensemen to play with Dion, then Nonis should be fired.
2.) Kadri not wanted in ottawa franson isn't a guy ottawa needs. If you would want spezza you would need to overpay and if you want a #1 centre you would need to offer good players
3.) Spezza isn't even a first liner. Turris is.
4.) To the person who said kadri not wanted in ottawa re-watch the draft the year kadri got drafted your GM tried to make a deal with Burke to get our 7th overall pick so he could draft kadri himself.

Hurricanes Anton Khudobin appears set to be their No. 1 goalie next season. Trading Cam Ward and his $6.3 million salary will be their top priority. Its no secret . Once Ron Francis Replaces Rutherford. i'd like feedback of where You Folks think he'll go. Teams in Need of Goaltending IMO are. Islanders. Flames. Wild. Winnipeg. and maybe Vancouver and Maybe Washington ETC. Wild Would have to Move to Much to make room for 6. 3. I Don't think Calgary has the assests less they want to trade Girodano (Not Likley) Or one of their terrible Jay Feaster Draft picks . Islanders would be My bet as they have lots of Cap and Really good Blueline prospects Which will be the focal point of the Hurricans. Just food for thought.

Donovan has shown that he is ready to play in the NHL as a regular now, and play on PP2, potentially developing into a PP1 player.
2.) I don't think Calgary wants ward, I think there confident going foreward temporarily with ramo as a starter until one of ortio or gillies can take that spot over. Feaster actually made some really good picks outside of the jankowski one. Beartschi, Monahan, poirer, and Klimchuck in the first, Wotherspoon, granlund, sieloff (from the extra pick from the jankowski trade) in the 2nd, Johnny gaudreau, bill Arnold Eric roy and a few others in the later rounds
3.) Vancouver will have to rebuild. No contracts like Ward for them. They have enough. Flames will be fine for their rebuild. Washington will probably lose Halak but I do not think they would want a contract like Ward. Islanders would be the best bet. Maybe NJ would exchange bad contracts with the Canes for Ward if Brodeur leaves
4.) 1st, Feaster's drafting is what has this organization back on the right track. Baertschi, Wotherspoon, Granlund, Jank may still be what was believe- a loate bloomer, Sieloff, Gillies, Gaudreau, Monahan, Klimchuk, Poirier etc.
2nd, no CGY doesn't need an aging, injury prone goaltender. Ramo is showing that he's acclimated himself to the NHL game and Ortio and Gillies are coming up as well.
5.) The hurricanes are cheap, they should just buy him out.

Dont gimme a hard time!. Ryan Kessler and Kevin Beiksa For Jake Gardiner, Kadri, Tyler Biggs, Peter granberg and A 1st
1.) Why do you want Kesler? I think he is getting old just like the Sedins. Bieksa would help. But I do not I do not think Kesler has much left to make a team a playoff contender.

Toronto is going to package those players for players that can actually do something.
3.) The Pens Offered the Canucks. Brian Dumoulin, Brandon Sutter and a 1st. Fact The Canucks Wanted a 1st and Brandon Sutter and Derrick Pouliot. Sutter is 25-years-old and is a reasonable enough third-line centre, but the key player here would have been Pouliot. Now The canucks Will not get that value again at the Draft or after it. The leafs have the 8th pick. Last yr that would of got us Cory Schinder. But a 8th pick this yr and Kadri AND Gardiner. Plus Granberg and Biggs? That 4 first round pics in the last 6 yrs If that won't get us Kesler and K. Beiksa Ill put my balls in a blender /Really tho. Vancover wants to rebuild. They want a Defensman under 25. There you have it in Gardnier and a SKILLED potential Fwd under 25 there you have it in Kadri.

Carolina : Eric Staal, Justin falk and Riley Nash Trades Via Toronto : Phanuef, Kadri, Gardiner, Fredrik Gauthier and a conditional first if Leafs make the playoffs
1.) No chance, canes aren't trading Staal. But you already know this wouldn't work, right? You'd have to be straight-up delusional to think it would.
2.) Drake stick to being the raptors embassador hockeys not working out for you and your awful trades
3.) There could be lots of changes in Carolina this offseason. Don't be surprised If Staal is gone. Ward is going to go for sure. Khubs us going to be the starter. Muller will be fired. They wanna rebuild. Not saying My trade opinion would Work but There will be major changes there.

Leafs Sign UFA Brooks Orpik or Matt Niskanen. Bolland walks. Kulimen walks. Not sure on Mason Raymond Yet cause I dint know the asking price. Sign Olli Jokinen To a one yr. Trade Franson (played for Vancouuver Giants ) and Kadri (speed Vancouver is lacking ) for Edler (Big two way. had a Down yr. Talented. need new scenery? ) and Big Bodied Jermey walsh who's game is most effective in the corners which Leafs lack. , Also trade Gunnarson to Washington for Jason Chimera. Now the lines would be 1) JVR-Bozak -Kessel 2) Lupul- Olli- Raymond/Clarkson 3)Josh levio/D'Amigio- Holland - Raymond/Clarkson 4)Chimera -Mcclemment- Abbot/Bodie/Welsh Defense Orpik/Niskenan -Phanuef Reilly- Gleason Gardiner - Edler. Of course Some changes here in there. No major moves but there isn't going to be is there? I apologize for the format and grammer
