I think Larsson could be a great fit with the leafs with all there upcoming Swedish talent. he could become a elite player in the league if the leafs give him time and not give up on there young players *Tuukka Rask*
THOUGHTS? Write what you would add on each teams if needed
1.) Pretty sure the Devils aren't ready to give up on their 4th overall pick just yet. Either way it would likely require more than a middle-pairing dman's rights and a B-prospect.
2.) More disagrees than agrees. LOL! Clearly a leafs fanbase is in the majority on this site because its ridiculous to think otherwise.
3.) And they're all entitled to their own opinion Chirp, same as you.

to get larson it would coast either lupul or kadri+2nd rd
6.) It would take Larsson + a pick or a prospect to get Kadri
7.) Franson, Percy or Biggs wouldn`t get you Larsson!
Franson isn`t a Devils type of defenseman and wouldn`t be in the equation
Kadri, Finn or Percy for Larsson might start a conversation and if so, Leafs should pay close attention.

At the draft
I herd Phaneuf is more likely to be in Edmonton than in torornto next season
So.
TOR: Jordan Eberle , 3rd overall
EDM: Dion Phaneuf , 8th overall , rights to James Reimer , 2015 4th round pick
RESULT for Toronto,
Leafs gets their 2nd line RW and the 3rd overall pick and they could draft Reinhart or Bennett who ever is available or Even take a long shot and draft draisaitl I believe any one of them could be a top line centre man in the NHL I would like to have draisaitl or Reinhart rather than Bennett
RESULT for Edmonton,
Gets a good top pairing defence man who needs a new start and where better than your home town 8th overall they can draft nick Richie Edmonton needs more grit and Richie could bring that and Reimer who definitely needs a new start and could fight out the number one job with scrivens or fasth

Thats even worse than what the guy above you did.
Phaneuf, 8th, Reimer and 4th would prolly not even get you 3rd overall alone.
Oilers got Scrivens and Fasth, Reimer would not be an upgrade.
But you also get Eberle in that trade? c'mon and be 1% realistic
2.) Personally I really don't see Edm giving up Eberle. They want to keep their core in tact while still gaining defensive help. As for Toronto, unfortunately for them I believe they are dealing from an area of weakness since teams know that after July 1 his no trade kicks in. So even though I believe Phaneuf has value, the Leafs will need to add a little to rid themselves of that contract

^If you really want Eberle AND 3rd overall, the Leafs 1st in 2015 HAS to be involved. As well as 8th overall

Not Reimer he is proven and markstrom isn't maybe Christopher Gibson and a pick or two
