To New York Islanders:
- Nikita Kucherov

To Tampa Bay Lightning:
- Ryan Strome
- Josh Ho-Sang
- 4th Round Pick 2017 (Maybe)

I know that Kucherov will probably stay in Tampa but I wanted to see what kind of return they could get. The Islanders seem to have interest in him.

Strome is a definite down grade from Kucherov. He is not nearly as good and has a lower ceiling. Ho-Sang's value has dropped since he was drafted. Islanders have made it clear that they are not happy with Ho-Sang and could look to move him. Lightning may take the chance on him.

Does NYI need to add that pick or is it equal as is? Thoughts?

NYI def adds, Kuch is pretty good in TB - I really don't think he'd be moved despite the contract tussle. The package, yes Strome is good - but a dismal season last year really drops his value - I see him capping at a 50 point second liner, nothing wrong with just not as good as Nikita Kucherov. Ho-Sang (who probably will be nothing more than this in-your-face third liner) and a 4th doesn't make the difference.

Kucherov is Tampas 2nd or 3rd best forward. And I'm sure you could easily find a hockey brain that would argue he's better than Stammer. So Goodluck.
