Mtl Shea Weber 50% salary retained in exchange of Nash Nick Bonino + rights to Alex Emelin.
Montreal needs a center badly and emelin could help while younger defencemens develops.
Nahsville get a dencent defecement at a decent salary and they can a;ways sign or trade for a nother center that fits better than bonino...

Can u Guys help define the value of galchenyuk. There seems to be lots of trade rumors (offers) on this site that only favors Mtl and galchenyuk value.

I honestly have no clue what his value is. he is maybe the biggest enigma in the league. The guy has all the talent in the world, but can't put it together.
I personnaly don't wanna see him get traded. let's see what he can do now that Drouin is the "chosen one". Chucky can jus play. not as much pressure. he did have 30 goals 2 years ago and was nearly a point a game player before last seasons injury.
Whatever he would fetch, will be high risk, high reward deal. and I have memories of John LeClair and the Ryan McDonough deals that still haunt me.

preds in win now mode would proabaly do it. puts johansen 2nd line against lesser quality defensemen which helps johansen.
that being said
2 late firsts (win now team usually goes semi deep in playoffs) and ellis may not be worth under 30 top line good centre and decent goalie prospect.
its all up to if bruins tear it down and rebuild, tearing it down would mean trading rask and letting subban develop and trading chara, maybe bergeron if return from contender was good.

Was wondering about the rules of contracts and buyouts in this CBA.
Can a team trade the buyout rights they have on contracts?
Exemple: could a trade for the buyout of the kings richards contracts? Since it counts on the cap?
Also was wondering about after a buyout, can any team sign those players right away or do they have to wait to july first like regular ufa's?

can't trade buyout cap charges. and yes, once the buyout is fialized, the player is a UFA, no need ot wait until July 1 because the contract is already terminated unlike other contracts that run to July 1.
