Colorado is sitting pretty nice with a solid team now, young players and good cap space. Highly doubt they want to add an older Weber with that contract. Just doesn’t fit into their system they have at the moment if you understand what I’m saying. They should target someone else.
And that’s even not enough for Weber and Byron. Lol.

For a team like toronto who can outscore any given night. I think mike reilly has huge upside.

Reilly is already 26 and has probably hit his ceiling. The leafs won’t trade Kapanen at least until the Mitch Marner situation is resolved. He likely won’t be traded at all.

He is not the best left hand dman on Montreal but I will say this about him. Imo if he was put in a situation where he was allowed to play the game he wanted to and wasn't being forced to be a defensive dman like he has been in Montreal and to a slightly lesser extent when he was in minny he might surprise with his offensive production. He doesn't have a cannon for a shot or anything but the rest of his skill set is comparable to jake gardiner and Justin Shultz.

Given how messed up the world situation is right now, how likely would free agents sign short term deals on Canadian teams rather then stay in the states? I mean the whole proposal of a Canadian division is kinda sad considering there's only 7 teams but i wanna know your thoughts.

Why would montreal get rid of price. As a Habs fan I feel like he ain’t going anywhere. Maybe think about a backup who has term and can finish the season. Next year let’s have 2 GOALIES. Let primeau mature another year or two!
Is it too much to ask to let our star prospects prove themselves in a legitimate multi year campaign with Laval.?

Montreal has more heart than toronto! Toronto has more skill but let themselves get pushed around. Who know maybe throughout the year they'll show there depth but as of right now, Montreal beats Toronto in 7... In april may be a different story if montreal can't fix there defence/pk.

There's 6 defenceman who have not played as many games as mete from the first round! weather that counts or not he's still a plus/minus 30 in 137 games played. I think if there's a redraft he wouldn't be a montreal canadian. We drafted mikhail sergachev at 9th who even tho he's the same as mete with a +/- 30 he has almost 3 times more points with 80 compared to mete 25. What's kinda funny is sergachev has 173 games played and mete had 137. Also if montreal doesn't trade sergachev mete never would have made the team right away where as sergachev did. It's a tough call, took advantage of his opportunities.
