@vbb newsflash insiders are saying the market is terrible for forwards right now if you keep up with hockey news, it seems like you only just flap your gums on this site. A 73pt Sniper with a low cap hit definitely should've gotten more, same with Reilly Smith.

What do you guys think about the idea of every team being able to have one buyout at a time not count against the cap?

For example VAN would have OEL use up their buyout slot for the next 8 seasons so if they choose to buy someone else out it’ll have the regular cap implications.

It would give a lot of teams breathing room and a chance to make their team way better.

Leafs fans how do you guys value Nylander? I just seen a bananas trade proposal on Twitter that had Leafs fans saying they wouldn't take the deal or said it's more than fair for:
Nylander & Robertson for Lindholm and Hanifin (both extended)

some even said that the Flames need to add a pick, like what in the actual f*ck lmao

I believe the issue is cap space. Nylander is just under $7M and those two combined where they are right now are $9.8M and I don't think they will be extended lower. I'm not a Leaf fan, but that would be my guess.
Value wise, I don't think it's crazy. They all have one year left until everyone is a UFA aside from Robertson. I don't think the flames add though.

In a vacuum Nylander=Lindholm imo.

Hanfin is extremely overrated but is still worth more then Robertson.

I desperately want Fantilli to be a Blue Jacket. Unless the price is just unreasonable Jarmo should be on the phone with the Ducks. I'd even go as far as #3,34,66 to the Ducks for #2. I think he's going to be that good, however, that's why the Ducks will probably take him. They already have 2 really young centers though

With PLD,Hellebuk, Scheifele, and Wheeler all leaving Winnipeg should just go for a full on rebuild. They could get a lot of good young pieces for those players

Was watching the Leafs Nation and they had Milan Lucic on, I think he’d do very well on the Leafs. Nobody would f*ck with the Matthews or Marner with Schenn and Lucic on their team. What do you Leafs fans think?
