Yah that second trade is intriguing. A reunion with his brother could be exactly what Nic Robertson needs. He has shown in a small sample size he can score and be productive; just a matter of sustaining it. Lundkvist, though a little undersized, moves the puck well and is a pretty good skater from what I can tell. Win win for the Stars and the Leafs.

I can't see Anaheim giving up on Zegras. and to take Nylander may create havoc on their salary. cap structure evrn though they could probably afford him.

Pretty positive the Ducks want to unload Zegras. He was available at the deadline and likely will be this offseason as well. Nylanders's contract would screw the Ducks in the long run when Carlsson, McTavish, Terry, etc. need new deals.

Zegras might be on the trade block this summer considering the Ducks have an abundance of young talent at forward even without him.
But Ducks fans would riot if Verbeek traded 2 futures for Nylander and Robertson.
Also Nylander has a no movement clause in his new contract and likely wouldn't waive it to be traded to Anaheim.

- your trades are the absolute worst on this site, because you ONLY post leaf-homer trades while pretending to be a fan of another NHL trades. (There’s other guys that post leaf-homer trades, but they’re open and out there as leaf die-hards. At least they’re honest about who they are. )
- your Zadorov trade ignores the fact that VCR traded two picks TWO MONTHS ago and it’s been a great fit for the team and the player. Why in the world would VCR trade him for an older player who is a cap dump at this point?
